LINGAYEN — First batches of drug personalities in Alaminos City and Mabini town who surrendered to the police last year have completed the community-based rehabilitation program held at the Pangasinan Reformation Center in Burgos town.

Two more batches are expected to attend the same program this month at the PRC managed by the provincial government.

The PRC already hosted three batches of rehabilitated drug personalities from Burgos, Dasol, and Lingayen/Binmaley. A youth group from Anda also underwent a leadership training and development encounter in said facility.

The provincial administration manages the four-day Integrated Reformation Program, that includes spiritual counselling, personality development trainings, and development-oriented engagements like entrepreneurial and livelihood activities they could engage in.

So far, 20 rehabilitated drug users from Mabini town have undergone a life-changing encounter at the PRC last February 12-15 while 20 others from Alaminos City completed theirs on February 19-22.

PRC Training Directorate head Rhodyn L .Oro said the reformation center was built by the provincial administration to help Pangasinenses who want to reform and have another chance at rebuilding their lives.

The PRC, headed by Administrator Eugenie Guiang, is manned by a training team trained to handle the rehab program. (PIO/MGNO)
