SP OKs Prov’l Dev’t and Physical Framework Plan

LINGAYEN The Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation (DRR+CCA) – Enhanced Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan (PDPFP) was recently approved by the by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) in its regular session held on January 28 through Provincial Resolution No. 2256-2019.

The PDPFP aims to transform the province into an ecologically balanced and stable environment, a world class tourism destination, and a progressive trading and industrial center in the Region making the Province to be the best place to invest, work, live, and raise a family,” the resolution reads.

Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator Benita Pizarro presented the PDPFP to the SP after it was approved by the Provincial Development Council, along with the Provincial Development Investment Program 2018-2027 prior to its passage in the SP.

“The PDPFP embodies the land use policies which would guide the direction of land using activities, environmental management, settlement pattern and the development of other physical resources of the province of Pangasinan,” Pizarro said. (PIO/MGNO)
