VMUF graduate places 4th in x-ray tech exam
A GRADUATE of the Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation (VMUF) in San Carlos City, placed 4th among the 514 successful examinees in the Radiologic Technologist and X-Ray Technologist Licensure Examinations given by the Board of Radiologic Technology last June 7 and 8.
VMUF’S Isabelita Doruelo of Buenavista placed fourth with an average rating of 84.50 percent.
Other VMUF graduates who passed the exams are Joemar Muñoz, Sheila DV. Posadas, Mark Joseph Soriano, and Sajid Karem Sarque.
Previously, VMUF produced four board top ten placers in 2010, three in 2009 and two in 2008.
The VMUF first-time takers obtained a 100-percent passing mark, much higher than the national passing average of 49.61 percent.
The VMUF President and Board of Trustees chairman, Dr. Ma. Lilia P. Juan, congratulated and commended the most recent batch of successful examinees.
She also commended the college’s program coordinator, Mary Ann Solis, and the entire teaching force of the college of radiologic technology.
The successful examinees will take their professional oath on July 17 in Manila.
