Binmaley pupils get free school supplies anew
BINMALEY–Elementary and high school students in this town feel luckier than ever. They will again receive free school supplies from the municipal government.
Mayor Simplicio Rosario said about P4-million, higher than the P3 million spent in previous years, has been set aside for the project to encourage the young from poor families to stay in school and get their education.
For grades one to four, each student will receive a bag, four notebooks, pad paper, either pencil or pen and a t-shirt. Those in grade five to high school will get a bag, eight notebooks, pen and t-shirt.
Rosario said the project is timely for parents, especially the poor who can hardly afford to provide for the school needs of their children, in these difficult times. #
