Aguilar lass is “Miss Talent”

LINGAYEN—Aileen Grace G. Caguioa from Aguilar won the “Miss Talent” title in the Miss Limgas na Pangasinan 2009 beauty pageant.
The talent portion of the competition, held April 28 at the Lingayen Beachfront, featured the special skills of the 15 candidates, including singing, dancing, drama and oration.
Several of the candidates performed Pangasinan songs, native dances and interpretative dances highlighting the province’s transformation and progress.
The board of judges was composed of: Dr. Lea Calpito, administrator, Office of the Academic Affairs, Lyceum Northwestern University; Barangay Captain Darwina Sampang of Pantal, Manaoag; Joel Alcaraz, Territory Sales Supervisor of San Miguel Corporation; and Engr. Alvin Bigay, Provincial Housing and Urban Development coordinator.
Buddy De Perio, a former Kabataang Barangay chairman of Bolinao and now a businessman from New Jersey, USA was chairman of the Board of Judges.
