ROSALES—SM City Rosales and all SM supermalls nationwide joined the worldwide celebration of Earth Day on April 22 with the theme, “Tubig at Lupa, Buhayin; Hangin, Linisin; Batas, Tuparin“.

SM City Rosales celebrated Earth Day by opening the Philippine Earth Day Exhibit, and conducting environmental story-telling sessions and environmental plugging/film showings.

This was in cooperation with Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office and the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB), both offices of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

Set to run until April 28, the activity was attended by DENR Regional Executive Director Corazon Davis, EMB Regional Director Joel Salvador of the EMB, CENRO’s Samuel Cirilo of and Rosales City Mayor Ricardo Velo Revita.

Joey Ayala, well-known for his style of music combining the sounds of Filipino ethnic instruments with modern pop music, will be performing on April 28, along with a local group of artists from Dagupan City known as “Karatula”.—LM
