THE grand orchestra and ballroom dancing showdown, one of the most attended events in last year’s Pista’y Dayat celebration, is making a comeback this year with more participants expected.

Ten orchestras will have a showdown at the Capitol Beachfront in Lingayen on April 27 at 6 p.m. with simultaneous and individual performances.

The participating orchestras are The Harmony Orchestra, Santiago Brothers Orchestra, Joe Caranto Orchestra, Jjam Orchestra, Rudy Mac Orchestra, Rod Palaganas Orchestra, Esting Caranto Orchestra, Lina Abuan Orchestar, Sil Urbano Orchestra and the E.C Jammers Orchestra.

Pangasinan is positioning itself as the Fiesta Orchestra Capital of the World.

Meanwhile, ballroom dancing enthusiasts all over Pangasinan and the neighboring provinces are expected to come to compete and sway to the music provided by the orchestra.
