Robbers grab P400,000 cash
SUAL–Robbers riding in tandem on board a motorcycle held up two door-to-door workers, carting an approximate P400,000 cash on Tuesday at Sitio Matalikitik in Barangay Caoayan here.
The police identified the victims as Samuel Tintiangco, 56, and Ronnie Villa, 36, both employees of MBA Express based in Urdaneta City.
The two victims were on a motorcycle heading to the western part of Pangasinan to deliver the money remittances when two unidentified men, riding a colored blue Honda TMX 155 motorcycle with no plate number, closed in on them and announced the hold-up.
The police reported that one of the suspects fired at the two victims, hitting Villa’s left leg forcing the victims to stop.
The robbers then opened the compartment of the victims’ motorcycle and took the money amounting to about P400,000 and sped-off.
A spent shell for cal.45 was recovered at the scene.
A manhunt and further investigation are being conducted by the Sual police.—CSR
