Multi-cabs a big boost to Binmaley barangays
BINMALEY–Efficiency in the delivery of services in the barangays here is expected to improve further now that majority of the barangays are equipped with their own multi-purpose 12-valve multi-cabs.
Municipal Councilor Rodrigo “Jing” Bautista, Liga ng mga Barangay president, said the vehicles are a big help in the performance of the barangay officials’ duties and this was already proven by improved coordination and preparation seen for their town fiesta last month.
The 20 barangays that availed of the cabs, each costing P160, 000, shelled out P80, 000 each to cover half of the cost while the municipal government providing half of the cost.
The barangays that received their patrol vehicles are Amancoro, Balagan, Pototan, Camaley, Gayaman, Calit, Naguilayan, Lomboy, Nagpalangan, Dulag, San Isidro Sur, San Isidro Norte, Caloocan Sur, Malindong, Baybay Polong, Baybay Lopez, Linoc, Caloocan Dupo and Canaoalan.
Bautista thanked Mayor Simplicio Rosario for the project, which has also proven to be useful for the nightly patrols and emergency cases in the community.
Other barangays have also signified intent to avail of the transport. #
