VMUF graduates top finishers in X-Ray test
SAN CARLOS CITY -Two graduates of the Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation (VMUF) ranked 6th and 8th in the Radiologic Technologist and X-Ray Technologist Licensure Examinations given in Manila last December 6 and 7, 2008
Belinda Shahani Puquiz, from Mangatarem, placed 6th with an average rating of 82.75 percent while Corazon Agustin from Urdaneta City ranked 8th with an average rating of 81.75 percent.
The exam, prepared by the Board of Radiologic Technology of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), had 320 successful examinees out of the 712 takers.

Other VMUF successful examinees are Patrick Castro of Bayambang, Gilbys Gelido of San Carlos City, and Mary Cris Go of Urbiztondo.
The VMUF administration, headed by its president, Dr. Ma. Lilia Juan congratulated the five new x-ray technologists and will hold a Thanksgiving Mass and a Testimonial Lunch on January 14 to honor the new topnotchers and successful examinees before they take their professional oath before the Boardon January 18.

Mary Ann Solis, program coordinator of the college of radiologic technology, said that the VMUF has produced many other topnotchers including Ferdinand Bautista of San Carlos City who placed 10th in the 1999 licensure examinations and John Cayabyab, also of San Carlos City, who placed 5th in the 1993 licensure examinations.#
