SM City Rosales opens Nov. 28
ROSALES—Pangasinenses will experience shopping in the renowned ‘SM’ environ for the first time right in their own front yard when SM City Rosales, the 32nd SM Supermall, opens its doors on Friday, November 28.
Located along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Carmen East, Rosales, it will be the first SM Supermall in the province and will bring SM’s shopping, leisure, and entertainment excitement to Rosales and neighboring towns like Villasis, Sta. Maria, Balungao, Urdaneta City, Sto Tomas, and Umigan.
While checking out the new mall, shoppers can enjoy shows especially lined up for them. Gabby Concepcion will entertain the audience live at the Events Center during the SM City Rosales Mall opening.
The celebration continues during the entire weekend as artists like Zanjoe Marudo and other Star Magic artists on November 29 at the Events Center.
On the same day, SM City Rosales will play host to the 3rd Suduko Super Challenge Elimination Round.
Rounding up the weekend activities is the mall tour of Carlo Caparas’s Pieta ABS-CBN talents like Krista Ranillo, Jason Abalos, Janus del Prado, Jairus Aquino, and Nina Dolino.
Expected to be served by the new mall as well are shoppers from Nueva Ecija and Tarlac, and travelers from Baguio City and the Ilocos Region.
During its soft opening, the SM Hypermarket, Watsons and ACE Hardware will open along with 27 tenants that include National Bookstore, Penshoppe, For Me, Oxygen, Ideal Vision, Blue Magic, Sportshouse, Mendrez, Unisilver, ; as well as restaurants like KFC, Pizza Hut, Jollibee, Tokyo Tokyo, Greenwich, and Red Ribbon;
Service shops like David’s Forever, Let’s Face It, Freshaire, and BDO, as well as fun and entertainment places like Games n Gadgets, Guazon Movitek, and Timezone.
When completed, SM City Rosales expects over 100 tenants.
To complete the SM shopping experience, a food court, and four deluxe cinemas with a total seating capacity of 2,000 will be in place.
The mall will have parking facilities for 700 vehicles and is strategically located beside the main terminal for inter-town public buses and jeepneys.
The construction team of SM City Rosales includes DSGN Associates, mall designers; Jose Siao Ling and Associates, Architects; New Golden City Builders, general contractors; and DA Abcede and Associates, project managers.
