SP congratulates City Budget Officer

THE Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) on Monday, September 5, passed a resolution congratulating City Budget Officer Luz De Guzman for her induction as a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Accountants at the 8th Global Congress and Conferment Ceremony on August 12 in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
De Guzman, who was recently recognized as one of the Outstanding Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Chapter presidents for 2015-2016, was one of the 118 other conferees from Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines and Maldives who were accepted into the elite circle of Fellows of Royal Institute of Accountants.
The title was in recognition of De Guzman’s talent, experience, performance, professional qualifications, significant achievements and contributions in her profession as Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
“We join her in the joyous celebration of professional success which serves to inspire her fellow workers in government to emulate her example of professionalism, relentless pursuit of excellence, dedication and achievement,” said Councilor Jeslito C.
