DTI hosts mobile training for entrepreneurs

THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has rolled out its mobile training program this year to promote the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Pangasinan.

Natalia Dalaten, chief trade and industry development specialist of DTI-Pangasinan, said an entrepreneurial, managerial and skills training has been set under the SME Roving Academy which will be conducted in the different cities and municipalities in the province.

“The SME Roving Academy is a continuous learning program the DTI provides for the development of MSMEs so that they become competitive in the domestic and international markets,” Dalaten said.

The topics and venues of SME Roving Academy trainings are: Seminar on Pricing and Costing – May 20 (Alaminos City) and June 15 (Dagupan City); Accounting for Non-Accountants and Organizational Development and Work Values and Ethics – July (Dagupan City); Skills Upgrading Training on Fish Processing – August (Anda); Current Good Manufacturing Practices Seminar and Packaging and Labeling Seminar – August (Rosales); Entrepreneurship Seminar and Basic Bookkeeping and Recording – September (Dagupan City); How to Participate in Trade Fair – October (Dagupan City); and Business Financing Forum – November (Dagupan City).
