PANGASINAN’s veteran cyclists will face off with their peers from neighboring provinces and Metro Manila anew when the 2015 Sta. Barbara Cycling Challenge reels off on December 6 in conjunction with the celebration of the town fiesta.

Led by last year winner Joel Balucos of Paranaque City, the bikefest, another sports project of Mayor Carlito S. Zaplan and sponsored by Excellent Noodles, will start and end at the new municipal hall of the host town in Barangay Maningding.

It will pass the Tuliao-Gueguesangen roads of Sta. Barbara, Barangay Gueguesangen of Mangaldan, before traversing barangays Nilombot, Golden, Poblacion, Aserda, Torres, Primicias of Mapandan and part of Urdaneta City national highway in Barangay Catablan and Menien, Tebag, Banaoang and Ventenilla of Sta. Barbara four times with an approximate distance of 106 kilometers.

Trophies and cash prizes are up for grabs for the 50 participants. (Jesus Garcia Jr.)
