4th Day Care Workers’ Provincial Convention held
LINGAYEN – Some 600 Day Care Workers from various parts of Pangasinan converged at the Sison Auditorium, here, on June 4-5 for the 4th Day Care Workers’ Provincial Convention hosted by the provincial government led by Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr.
The convention was organized by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development (PSWDO) in partnership with Provincial Day Care Workers’ Federation of Pangasinan.
Topics discussed by invited experts included Republic Act 7610 “Special Protection of Children against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act,” Strategies for Early Childhood Teachers, Your Health! It Really Matters, and DepEd Orders and Related Laws for Pre-Schoolers.
Meanwhile, Myrna Celeste of PSWDO said the Espino administration supports the Provincial Child Care and Development Center (PCCDC), caters to children of provincial government employees ages 2-4 years old Bahay Pag-Asa provides shelter, assistance and counseling to abused women and children. (PIO)
