PSA-Pangasinan gears up for mid-decade pop’n census
CALASIAO– The Philippine Statistics Administration (PSA) office in Pangasinan, located in this town, is preparing for the conduct of the mid-decade census of population.
Provincial statistics officer, Dante Pescador, said hiring of census enumerators and supervisors is now underway.
Out-of-school-youth and unemployed village locals will be given priority for the census supervisors and enumerators positions. In Pangasinan, a total of 3,500 enumerators, supervisors, and team supervisors are needed for the census of population this 2015.
Regular census is conducted during summer time, with teachers as enumerators and supervisors. This year, the nationwide simultaneous census will start on August 8 and will last for 25 days. (Johanne Macob)
