THE official student publication of Lyceum-Northwestern University (LNU) harvested 20 awards at the 14th Luzon-wide Higher Education Press Conference (LHEPC) to earn the title “Best Performing School” in Region 1.

Ulnos and its staff went head to head with entries of 750 delegates from 200 colleges and universities in Luzon island and Cebu province and won 15 group awards and five individual awards.

From being the 6th best out of seven regions participating in the LHEPC last year, Region I jumped to the 4th slot this year—a leap Ulnos helped to make happen.

The LHEPC, an annual competition for campus journalists organized by the Commission on Higher Education, was held last February 5-7 in Tuguegarao, Cagayan.

Ulnos Magazine was adjudged “Overall Best Magazine” and the Ulnos Tabloid was 4th Best Tabloid.
