PANGASINENSES anywhere in the world will be able to witness the events of this year’s Bangus Festival with the worldwide telecast through live streaming.

Also for the first time, the celebration will be on a nationwide live TV coverage following an agreement signed by Mayor Belen Fernandez with GMA Network.

“Napakalaking pagkakataon ang hatid sa atin ng GMA na sila’y muli nating maka-partner. I could not have successfully handled the previous Bangus festivals that I chaired before for three consecutive years if not with the help of GMA. Ang partnership natin with them today will certainly give us media mileage to present and boost our bangus as well as our city’s tourism industry,” said Fernandez in her message during the signing.

Meanwhile, GMA’s representative Oliver Victor B. Amoroso, assistant vice president for Integrated Marketing Services, assured that this early, Kapuso’s big star, Dindong Dantes had already signified his intention to join the Bangus festival together with other Kapuso stars. (CIO)
