Calub is new Dagupan City police chief
POLICE Lt. Col. Lawrence Keith Calub took over as Dagupan City’s police chief on August 4 following a turnover ceremony held at the Dagupan City Police Station.
Calub succeeded Lt. Col. Brendon S. Palisoc, who was commended for his service by Col. Arbel C. Mercullo, Officer-in-Charge of the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office, at the event held following the traditional Monday flag ceremony.
Certificates of Commendation were also handed out to other outstanding police personnel from various units.
Mercullo expressed his full support to Calub, entrusting him with the vital role of ensuring peace and security in one of Pangasinan’s main cities.
Calub previously served in the Provincial Police Human Rights Office (PPHRO), was chief of the Bayambang Municipal Police Station, and was once designated as officer-in-charge at the Urdaneta City Police Station.
A native of Baguio City, he is a graduate of the PNPA Kaisang-bisig Class of 2009. (Ahikam Pasion)
