SUNDAY PUNCH cited as ‘Best Newspaper ‘
UDD’s DALUYON MEDIA AWARDS
THE Sunday PUNCH was named the Best Newspaper in Pangasinan at the 2nd Daluyon Media Awards sponsored by the Alliance of Communication Students of the Unibersidad de Dagupan in ceremonies held last week.
Picked as Best News Writer was Dennis L. Ferret of the Capitol Post.
Other awardees were: Best TV News Program – GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon (G10); Best News Anchor – Cris Zuniga; Best News Reporter (Male Category) – CJ Torida of RGMA; and Best News Reporter (Female Category) – Jasmin Gabriel Galvan of RGMA.
The Best Radio Station award was given to IFM Dagupan (DWON-FM) headed by Station Manager Mark Espinosa.
Chosen as Best Radio Program under the AM Category was Aksyon Radyo Balita of Aksyon Radyo; Best Reporter, Justine S. Ramos of Bombo Radyo; and Best Announcer, Celso J. Manuel of DWJE.
Under the FM Category, the winners are: DJ Subdae’s Talk of Love Radio, Best Radio Program; Totoy Bato of Love Radio, Best DJ Male Category; and DJ Kristine Dera of Yes Radio, Best DJ Female Category. (Leonardo Micua)
