THE Third Division of the Court of Appeals has denied the prayer for Temporary Restraining Order (RTO) filed by  Councilor Librada Reyna et al against Mayor Belen Fernandez et al, in connection with the passage of the 2025 annual budget in the  amount of P1.6 billion in November, 2024.

The resolution of CA’s third division stated: “The prayer for Temporary  Restraining Order is DENIED at the time there being no prima facie showing of a great and irreparable injury that will befall the applicants should the ancillary relief prayed for be not given”. (Leonardo Micua)
