INCUMBENT Liga ng mga Barangay president Patrick Agustin Caramat is running unopposed as mayor of Calasiao, which means a sure win as lone candidates need only at least one vote to get the position.

Caramat’s running mate is current Mayor Kevin Roy Macanlalay, who is sliding down to run as vice mayor and will be up against Rowell Untalan Diolazo.

The Caramat-Macanlalay team filed their Certificates of Candidacy (CoCs) along with their eight candidates for councilor under the Calasiao’s Unity Team on October 8.

Sporting green and red t-shirts, the team first paid a visit to the Señor Divino Tesoro Shrine before proceeding to the local elections office to file their CoCs. (Denisse Brillante/Intern)
