Dagupan City soon the 13th Justice Zone in PH
DAGUPAN City is set to be declared as the 13th Justice Zone in the Philippines on Monday, March 25.
This was confirmed by the Justice Sector Coordinating Council (JSCC) in a statement Wednesday, March 20.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) says the JSCC serves as “the vehicle for institutionalizing mechanisms to ensure effective and efficient coordination among all justice sector agencies and other stakeholders.”.
In a significant move to modernize and enhance the delivery of justice, the JSCC, which includes the Supreme Court, the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), has launched Justice Zones across the nation.
These zones are designed to foster collaboration among local justice sector institutions, thereby streamlining and improving the justice system. This initiative marks a major step forward in the country’s commitment to ensuring fair and efficient justice for all.
The designation of Dagupan City as a Justice Zone signifies a major advancement in fostering integrated cooperation among justice sector agencies. This collaboration aims to collectively pinpoint common obstacles and formulate efficient solutions, thereby streamlining the justice process.
“The Dagupan City Justice Zone is another significant step in fostering real-time collaboration among justice sector agencies to identify common issues and generated working solutions to better address them,” the JSCC said in a statement.
Steps have been undertaken in order to prepare the city as the next Justice Zone.
With Dagupan City becoming the 13th Justice Zone in the country, it will join the ranks of Quezon City, Cebu City, Davao City, Angeles City, Bacolod City, Naga City, Calamba City, Balanga City, and Baguio City in providing quality judicial service to all. (Ahikam Pasion)
