Mayor Fernandez and her group are expected to be back home on November 30.

Thanking Milpitas officials for the affirmation of the continuity of the sisterhood between the two cities, Mayor Fernandez said it is a positive sign that will provide Dagupan and Milpitas cities more space for exchanging ideas and best practices, promote culture, create more opportunities learning experience, “especially in terms in educating our young leaders”.

The Dagupan delegation is composed of Councilors Jeslito Seen and Dennis Canto, City Legal Officer Aurora Valle, Executive Assistant Luz de Guzman, OIC-City Engineer Josephine Corpuz, City Secretary Ryan Ravanzo, City Schools Division Superintendent  Rowena Banzon, Education Program Supervisor Liezl Cancino, Leizel Cayabyab, the mayor’s executive assistant, and some members of the Manlingkor ya Kalangweeran.

While in Milpitas, the young Dagupan City officials had the opportunity to learn about the educational activities at Milpitas City High School as part of a student exchange program of Milpitas and Dagupan. They also visited showrooms of various technology firms as part of their observation trip.

Saying they were enormously blessed with the trip, Mayor Fernandez said she intends to also invite Sanggunian Kabataan officers to embark on a benchmarking  trip to Milpitas City. (Leonardo Micua)
