A PANGASINENSE won the P58,983,172.20 jackpot prize of the Grand Lotto 6/55 of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

In a statement released by the PCSO on Thursday night, July 6, the winner bought the winning ticket in a lotto outlet in Barangay Asinan, Bugallon town.

The lotto draw was done on Wednesday night, July 5, with the winning numbers 05-01-27-26-44-11.

However, the Pangasinense bettor will not get the full prize.

“Prizes above P10,000.000 are subject to 20% tax pursuant to TRAIN Law,” said the PCSO.

This would mean that the bettor can only  take home P47,186,537.76. Not bad! (Ahikam Pasion)
