COMELEC voter registration in Dagupan only at City Mall
LAST TWO DAYS FOR B&SK ELECTIONS
WITH only two days left before the end of the voter registration for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections this October 2023, the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Dagupan City decided to end it in a mall at the City Mall in Barangay Mayombo.
Atty. Michael Franks Sarmiento, COMELEC Dagupan officer, said the registration in the city will be held only at City Mall Mayombo until Tuesday, January 31, since his office was closed on Friday, January 26.
Registration applicants are urged to bring their respective documentary requirements for faster processing, i.e. a photocopy of their valid IDs, certificate of residency, or any document proving the applicant is a legitimate resident of the city.
Applicants for the SK elections may bring photocopy of their birth certificates if their parents are voters based in Dagupan City.
COMELEC reminds applicants that without the required documents, they will not be allowed to register or transfer at the same time. The possibility of an early cut-off period can happen if the turnout of registrants on the last two days far exceeds capabilities of the office for the day. (Ahikam Pasion)
