EXECUTIVE-LEGISLATIVE AGENDA

THE Sangguniang Panlalawigan passed No. 236-2022 resolution adopting the Executive and Legislative Agenda (ELA) of the provincial government for calendar years 2023 to 2025.

Proposed by First District Board Member and Majority Floor Leader Napoleon Fontelera Jr. and co-authored by all provincial board members, the resolution described the ELA as a road map towards Pangasinan’s sustainable development over the next three years.

According to Fontelera, the ELA contains a comprehensive list of programs projects and activities to be implemented and funded by the present provincial administration of Governor Ramon Guico III that were thoroughly studied and deliberated upon by the executive and legislative branches of the province of Pangasinan.

The ELA for the next three years was the product of comprehensive planning based on documents presented by different departments of the provincial government to identify the priority projects and programs in response to the needs of the people of Pangasinan.

He said after a careful study and evaluation of said  ELA, the SP has found the plan to be “meritorious, advantageous and beneficial to the province and consistent with pertinent national laws.” (Leonardo Micua)
