Pangasinan records average single-digit COVID cases daily

THE Provincial Health Office (PHO) has been recording single-digit number of new COVID-19 cases since December 2.

This was shown by the COVID-19 monitoring bulletin, including the 4-cases of a seven-day average cases in the province from December 2 to 8, compared to the previous week’s 10 new cases average (November 25 to December 1).

On December 2 alone, the PHO recorded 4 new confirmed cases; 6 cases on Dec. 3; 7 cases on Dec. 4; 3 cases on Dec. 5; 2 cases each on Dec. 6 and 7, and eight new cases on Dec. 8.

As of Dec. 8, the total confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pangasinan was 35,502 with 45 active cases.

The data identified many local government units in the province with zero active cases. (Jerick Pasiliao)
