Lacson team’s ‘3K’ to bring it to Malacañang
DIALOGUES ON PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
PRESIDENTIAL aspirant Senator Panfilo ‘Ping’ Lacson said on Dec. 19 that his team may not match the touted Solid North and Solid South votes of their rival team today but he expressed confidence that their “3K” message (Kakayahan, Katapangan at Katapatanf) communicated through dialogues will eventually bring them to Malacañang in next year’s elections.
At the press conference prior to their “Online Kumustahan sa Pangasinan” in Lingayen, presidential aspirant Lacson said while they cannot match “Solid North” and “Solid South,” the mere fact that they are in Pangasinan, which is a big part of that “Solid North”, to explain what their ‘3K’ can do, makes them optimistic and confident.
He added all it needs is for people to listen to his team and they will see there is a better alternative.
The three-term senator said all that’s needed is an opportunity “to explain ourselves, our platforms and we can convince our countrymen that the country is facing a very big problem and it can’t be simply be solved by a Solid North or Solid South,”.
He added that they have no caravans, no motorcades but they were welcomed by a parade of motorcycles, a symbol of ordinary people’s mass transport especially in the provinces, carrying tarpaulins of Senators Panfilo Lacson-Tito Sotto team, from the famous Lingayen Baywalk to the Lingayen Civic Center for their “Online Kumustahan sa Pangasinan.”
He said the objective of their “Online Kumustahan” around the country is to give Filipinos a chance to know the true picture of what to expect from 2022 and beyond given the current problems facing the country.
Lacson and Sotto, presidential and vice presidential aspirants respectively, were joined by their senatorial aspirants, health advocate Dr. Minguita Padilla, actor/sportsman-turned- politician Monsour del Rosario and retired Philippine National Police chief Guillermo Eleazar in their Pangasinan visit. They were welcomed by local officials led by Mayor Leopoldo Bataoil, a PMAyer and retired police general prior to becoming a congressman and mayor.
The Lacson-Sotto team barnstormed vote-rich Pangasinan, bannered as the top five of the highest voting population in the country.
Lacson said the country’s problems cannot be solved via ‘Tiktok’ but through dialogues.
“We are issue-based and hopefully between now and election day, we could imbibe in our people what are the long-term solutions to these problems,” he said. (Eva Visperas)
