Cayetano’s program helps sari-sari store owners
SARI-SARING PAG-ASA IN LABRADOR
SARI-sari store owners in Labrador town rejoiced on Nov. 2 when they were given additional capital for their business operation under the “Sari-saring Pag-asa program of former Speaker Peter Alan Cayetano, congressman of the Second District of Taguig City.
The program, which aims to spur opportunities in the countryside, also rolled simultaneously in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, and in San Gabriel, La Union as part of Cayetano’s efforts to help Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Ilocos region cope with the difficult times brought about by the pandemic.
“Sari-saring Pag-asa underscores the importance of the MSMEs during the pandemic at a very challenging time when owners of sari-sari stores most need help so that they can sustain and make their operations viable,” said Cayetano, prime mover of the “P10,000 ayuda bawat pamilya”.
He expressed hope that the sari-sari store owners in Labrador will use the additional capital given to them by the “Sari-saring Pag-asa” program to make their business grow.
Sari-sari store owners in practically throughout the country personally wrote Cayetano to express their desire to become beneficiaries of “Sari-saring Pag-asa”.
