Pangasinan records 1,048 COVID-19 recoveries

ANOTHER SINGLE DAY HIGH

THE Provincial Health Office (PHO) recorded highest single-day recoveries from the COVID-19 with 1,048 cases on September 15, bringing the number of total recoveries to  20,759 out of  reported 25,813 cases.

PHO chief Dr. Anna de Guzman attributed the increasing number of cases to the fact that  most of the COVID-19 patients in the province are asymptomatic, experiencing mild symptoms and more persons are being inoculated with vaccines.

Meanwhile, active COVID-19 cases in Pangasinan continues have dropped to 4,207.

The new 540 new Covid-19 cases recorded on September 15, pushed the total number of infections to 25,813.

Total death toll as of September 15 was 847. (Jerick Pasiliao)
