Barangay in Villasis placed under ECQ, Aug 3-17

A BARANGAY in Villasis was placed under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) with heightened restrictions from Aug 3 to Aug. 17 due to the surge of active COVID cases in the community.

A resolution by the Villasis Anti-COVID Task Force signed on Aug. 3 by Mayor Nonato Abrenica and Roderick Emmanuel Mina, acting secretary, cited the 10 active COVID cases in Barangay Unzad which were 50 percent increase from the previous day’s six active cases.

Curfew in the barangay is from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. and liquor ban is in effect.

Authorized Persons Outside of Residence (APORs) are required to show company IDs and Certificates of Employment.

Only take out, delivery and pick-up will be allowed in food establishments. Dine-in is not allowed. Mass gatherings are also prohibited.

Wakes and birthdays and other parties may only be attended by the immediate family members of the celebrators or the departed. (Eva Visperas)
