Dagupan’s active cases back to 127
THE number of active COVID-19 cases in Dagupan City ballooned to 127, just eight days after the Regional Epidemiology Surveillance Unit (RESU) of the Department of Health-Center for Health Development 1 classified it as one of the 10 risk areas of Pangasinan.
This even if it scored 24 recoveries against only eight new confirmed cases and one death on Tuesday, July 20.
With 127 active new cases, Dagupan is now back on top of the COVID-19 watchlist in Pangasinan of the Department of Health
Pantal is back on top in the number of active cases still confined and on quarantine with 28, followed by Bonuan Boquig, 22; Bonuan Gueset, 18 and Bonuan Binloc, 16.
The new cases brought the number for confirmed COVID-19 cases in Dagupan since the contagion began more than a year ago to 1,957 with 1,734 recovered while 91 others died.
The other active cases in Dagupan are located in Lucao (8), Malued (7), Tapuac (5), Caranglaan (4), Poblacion Oeste (4), Mangin (2), Pogo Grande (2), Tebeng (2), Barangay 1 (1), Carael (1), Herrero-Perez (1), Lasip Grande (1), Mayombo (1) and Tambac (1).
Twelve barangays without a case are: Bacayao Norte, Bacayao Sur, Barangay II and III, Barangay IV, Bolosan, Calmay, Lasip Chico, Lomboy, Mamalingling, Pogo Chico, Pugaro and Salapingao. (Leonardo Micua)
