NEWSBREAKER – Dagupan City had another record breaking heat index at 53 degrees Celsius on May 14, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

 Two days earlier, 52°C heat index was recorded in the city on May 12, 2021.

 Health experts warn that 41-54°C heat index is dangerous and could lead to heat cramps and heat exhaustion. This could result in heat stroke if physical activity is continuous. (Eva Visperas)
