RUSAC Inter-Town Volleyball tourney kicks off
THE Rosales United Stars Athletic Club Inter-Town Men’s and Women’s Volleyball tournament reeled off last February 15 at the Robert Estrella Memorial Stadium in Rosales with 24 teams across the 5th and 6th Districts of Pangasinan participating.
During the league’s opener, a series of dominant performances unfurled.
Host team Rosales Men’s Volleyball Club outclassed Balungao in two straight sets, 25-23, 25-13.
In the following match, powerhouse team Umingan Men’s Volleyball team rolled past Alcala, 25-17, 25-10, while the Rosales Women’s Club downed Team Pozorrubio, 25-16, 25-16.
The opening day was graced by renowned volleyball icons Rachel Anne Daquis and Eya Laure.
“We are doing this for the homegrown talents of Pangasinan to display their exceptional skills, provide enjoyment, and build camaraderie among the players in different towns,” said Rosales Mayor William Cezar. (Kim Gealogo)
