Sim is champ in DATBI annual bowling finals
BUSINESSMAN Mike Sim of Dagupan City scored 2,289 points in 10 games to win the championship in the Dagupan Tenpin Bowling Inc.( DATBI) Annual Finals that ended January 5, 2025 at the CSI Bowling Center in Dagupan City.
Sim waxed hot in the first game, coasted along from second to eight games, but made a big recovery in the ninth and 10th games by scoring 225 and 258 respectively.
Abby Saddoy is first runner-up with 2,248 by winning in the second (267), third (235), fifth (268), and eighth (206) games.
Greg Wilson pulled a surprise in the fourth game with 234, sixth game with 277 and seventh game with 208 to grab the second-runner up honor with an overall total of 2,248.
Third-runner up is Doy Bandarlipe who had an aggregate of 2,241, followed by Julius Duculan, who grabbed the third runner-up honor with 2234; and Gil Rosario is fifth-runner up with 2,217.
The tournament was participated in by 26 top bowlers of Dagupan City and parts of Pangasinan. (Leonardo Micua)
