THE Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation Senior High School swimming team bagged one gold in Swimming Secondary Boys 200m medley relay last April 22, 2024 during the Region I Athletic Association held at Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.

Members of the VMUF Boys Swim Team who won the event were Gerry Kian Perez, Geron Castro, Carl Yshmael Blanco, and Keyile Rheyi Cayabyab.

The team bested the other 13 participating Schools Division to record the first gold medal podium finish of the San Carlos City Division on the first day of the R1AA r games.

VMUF Head Coach Jackielyn Ramos said the team’s months of rigorous trainings in preparation to the regional meet had paid off to reach this remarkable feat. (Kim Gealogo)
