DIOSA Millora, a female bowler from Aguilar town, carded 1,234 pinballs to bag the championship in the Rookie Masters in 13th SCTBA DRA  Save Eye Care Bowling Open held last March 24 at the Baguio Center Mall in Baguio City.

Millora, a member of the Dagupan Tenpin Bowling Inc. (DATBI), averaged 206 pin falls in six starts to win the championship trophy and the top cash prize that came with it.

In the Mixed Masters Division, DATBI’s Abraham Soddy was first runner up after carding 1710 pitfalls while team mates Martin Santiago placed sixth, Russel Santiago was seventh, and Matt Barredo, ninth.

Some 100 bowlers from different provinces participated in the tournament.

DATBI is inviting top bowlers in the country to participate in the19th DATBI Open slated at the CSI City Mall Bowling Lanes from April 16 to 21. (Leonardo Micua)
