Balon Dagupan Swim Club bags medals in PSI Grand Prix

THE Balon Dagupan Swim Club showcased its swimming prowess by securing an impressive haul of two gold, six silver, and two bronze medals at the PSI Long Course Grand Prix Championships.

The event, organized by the Philippine Swimming Inc., was held from September 22 to 24 at the Teofilo Yldefonso Swimming Pool inside the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

Gabriel Jizmundo emerged as one of the standout performers for the Balon Dagupan Swim Club, clinching two gold medals in the 50m breaststroke and the 100m breaststroke. Additionally, he claimed silver medals in the 50m backstroke and 50m freestyle events.

Matthew Gaerlan also showcased his swimming prowess, securing silver medals in the 100m backstroke, 200m backstroke, and 50m backstroke events. He also clinched a bronze medal in the 200m freestyle. Julianna Catapang contributed to the club’s success by earning a silver medal in the 100m backstroke event.
