PNP Provincial Advisory Group to hold shootfest
THE Provincial Advisory Group on Police Transformation and Development (PAGPTD) is set to hold a shootfest on June 2 – 3, at the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) firing range in Barangay Libsong West, Lingayen.
In an interview with Aksyon Radyo Dagupan, Lingayen Mayor Leopoldo Bataoil, PAGPTD chairman, said the shootfest, a level 1 PPSA sanctioned match, which will have five stages, minimum of 121 rounds for handgun, PCC, and MR match; while the PNP match will consist of 3 stages, minimum of 64 rounds.
The P700 registration fee is for police personnel and P800 for civilians.
Bataoil said the shootfest is an event with a cause, in partnership with the Philippine Practical Shooting Association (PPSA), aiming to assist policemen with their operational needs and expenses.
Bataoil, a former policeman himself, said the police are always in need of resources and assistance. (Ahikam Pasion)
