DCAA is back!
AFTER four years, the Dagupan City Athletic Association (DCAA) Meet is making a comeback!
This was the excited announcement of Dagupan City Mayor Belen Fernandez last week and said thousands of students from both public and private schools can again look forward to participating regularly in the citywide competition.
The first competition was set on March 2, 4 & 5, 2023 for the qualifying events in preparation for this year’s Region 1 Athletic Association (R1AA) meet.
“While education comes as one of the top priorities under my administration, we likewise give our highest value to sports, music and the arts to develop our young people, ” Fernandez said.
“Naalala ko po nang ating isinagawa ang isang Victory Parade bilang back-to-back champion sa R1AA 2018 at 2019… Nawa’y maging daan muli itong Division Meet natin upang makamit muli ang tagumpay sa R1AA!.”
The DCAA 2023 Sports Festival was organized by DepEd Dagupan under the leadership of Schools Division Superintendent Aguedo Fernandez in partnership with the City Sports Commission (DCSC). (Dagupan CIO News)
