SP commends 2 cyclists who won in PhilCycling event

TWO Pangasinenses who made their mark in the Men’s Elite Criterium Event in the PhilCycling National Trials for Road 2021 held at the Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone in Pampanga last July 10 to 11 were commended by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

Cited in separate resolutions were cyclists Dominic Sison Perez, 27, of Baranagay San Jose, Sto. Tomas; and Marco Salvador Lumanog of  Barangay San Roque, San Manuel town.

Resolution Nos. 2588-2021 and 2589-2021 were authored by Board Members Nicoli Jan Louie Sison, Chinky Perez Tababa, Noel Bince and Salvador Perez Jr.

Perez, a member of the Go for Gold team, placed 1st while Lumanog, a member of the 7 Eleven-Cliqq Pro Cycling team, placed 4th in that cycling event.

In conferring the resolutions, the SP cited the provincial government’s policy recognizing achievements of its people in their respective chosen fields of endeavors and that both Pangasinan cyclists “deserve the felicitations of the Pangasinan community for installing the province in the limelight of sports arena.” (Leonardo Micua)
