YMCA Dagupan, with only 10 players, collected three golds, four silvers and four bronzes and placed runner-up in the 5th Pacoy Ortega Karate Cup held Feb. 18 in San Fernando City, La Union.
  

University of Luzon Junior-hi student Jona Reyes won two golds in the 14 to 15 girls Kumite and below 17 years old girls Kata, Special  Science-Lyceum Northwestern sophomore Jayson Ramil Macanlalay one gold in 14 to 15 boys kumite and silver in silver in below 17 years old boys kata.
  

Ednas School 10 year old student John Maverick Edralin won two silvers in the 20 to 11 boys kumite and below 13 year old  boys Kata while UL freshman Fidel Salvador Reyes won the silver in 12 to 13 boys kumite and bronze in below 13 years old kata.
  

Mother Goose Play Skool’s Rhys Palaganas won bronze from the 8 to 9 boys kumite Edna’s Daniel Kurt Vidal won bronze  in the 10 to 11 years old kumite and La Salette’s Arnold Tuy got the bronze in the below to  17 year old kata.
