STUDENTS of the Mangin-Tebeng Elementary School brought their own plastic containers for the school-based Orientation-Workshop on Container Gardening for Learners held on September 16.

The project that promotes containerized gardening was undertaken with the assistance of the City Agriculture Office led by City Agriculturist Mary Ann Salomon, with the group KATROPA led by its president, Eduardo Sotelo.

‘ALAGANG HEALTHY DAGUPEÑO’ GOES TO SITIO FISHERIES, MALUED

A medical mission under the “Alagang Healthy Dagupeño” program of Mayor Belen Fernandez was held on September 12 for senior citizens of Sitio Fisheries, Barangay Malued.

Fernandez personally checked on the beneficiaries of the mission organized by the City Health Office in coordination with the Malued Barangay Council led by Chairman Filipina Delos Santos. The first 120 seniors who arrived were also given rice and canned goods.

JOB FAIR & TUPAD PAYOUT ON PBBM’S BIRTHDAY

A job fair was held at the CSI Stadia on September 13 in celebration of Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s birthday.

Several private companies offered local and foreign placement opportunities to job seekers. Financial aid was also distributed to displaced workers under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program.
