INSPECTION OF DRAINAGE OUTLETS AND COASTAL BARANGAYS

MAYOR Belen Fernandez and City Engr. Josephine Corpuz, along with representatives of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Regional Office, were out early on September 4 to inspect different drainage outlets and coastal barangays.

The inspection was intended to assess the water flow situation in these structures and areas to mitigate flooding in low-lying areas.

PASILAO ROAD EVALUATION

Mayor Belen Fernandez inspected on September 3 the road widening and drainage system works at Pasiliao Road, Bonuan Boquig.

Kagawad Felimon Gonzales briefed the mayor on persistent problems in the barangay, particularly on drainage. City Engr. Josephine Corpuz explained that their office is closely evaluating the project to ensure improvements in water flow.

TRANSFORMATIVE LEADERSHIP FOR ELEVATED GOVERNANCE

Dagupan City officials led by Mayor Belen T. Fernandez attended the Transformative Leadership for Elevated Governance capacity building program of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region I under the Newly Elected Officials Performing Leadership for Uplifting Service (NEO PLUS) Program.

The training, led by the DILG Local Government Academy (LGA), aims to equip local officials with the knowledge and tools to lead effectively and responsibly, in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.’s directive to strengthen local governance and improve public service delivery.
