
2ND BATCH OF MARKET VENDORS UNDERGO DOLE TUPAD PROFILING

THE second batch of TUPAD profiling, covering 121 market vendors, was completed last week as part of continuing operations to assist those who were affected by Typhoon Emong in July.
Beneficiaries of the program get financial support for their livelihood and families.
The activity was undertaken by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) with CPFO Chief Office Head Rhodora D. Dingle, with the city’s Public Employment and Service Office, led by PESO Manager Joy Siapno

LIVELIHOOD OPPORTUNITY FOR MUSLIM VENDORS
MAYOR Belen Fernandez, together with the City Market Division, led by Judy Narvasa and Kap. Francisco “Kiko” Lopez, and through the assistance of City Engr. Josephine Corpuz, formally handed over livelihood opportunities to the first 30 Muslim vendors who will be given space at the New Galvan Market.
She said more than providing job opportunities and generating income, the initiative is an expression of the “greatness of our vendors – matiyaga, masipag at gagawin ang lahat para sa pamilya.”

DONATION FROM DAGUPAN CITY WATER DISTRICT
ACTING Mayor Bryan Kua thanked the Dagupan City Water District (DCWD) as he received on August 11 the utility’s donation for Dagupeños affected by the recent typhoon.
The contribution includes rice, umbrellas, and mugs.
