SOME 1,900 enrolled Day Care Pupils of Dagupan receive free snacks after the 2024 STATE OF THE CHILDREN ADDRESS held on November 12, at the CSI Stadia.Mayor Belen T. Fernandez thanked the generous support of major sponsors, namely Universal Robina Choco Knots, Minute Maid, Bingo Orange Choco Sandwich, Mondelez Tiger Energy Biscuit, MY San Grahams Deluxe Crackers, Jack n’ Jill Wafrets, Presto, Nissin Waffer Choco and Butter Coconut.

LIBRARY NOOK AT THE CSI MALL, NOW OPEN TO PUBLIC FOR FREE!
THE Dagupan City Public Library formally opened “The Library Nook” at the 2F CSI The City Mall, Lucao, which will serve as a learning and reading center for children. This library program coincides with the celebration of the National Children’s month this November with the theme “Break the Prevalence, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines!”
This library service supports the mission of the city government under the leadership of Unliserbisyo Mayor Belen T. Fernandez to promote literacy development through its “Unaen su Edukasyon” Program, making education accessible for every Dagupeño. Joining the celebration is guest storyteller SK Chair Christel Hilary “Tala” Paras and CSI Mall Manager, Engr. Nestor Sanggalang for the ribbon-cutting. The library nook is open to the public for free.

MORE than 2,000 students participated in the Children Summit 2024 in celebrating the National Children’s Month Celebration this November organized by the Dagupan City government led by Mayor Belen Fernandez in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division Office headed by Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Rowena Banzon. Among the activities lined up were an exhibit, symposium, and competition with the theme: “Break the Prevalence, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines.”
