ANOTHER USEFUL TECHNOLOGY FOR DAGUPAN

UNLISERBISYO

THE city welcomes the professors of The Rhode Island University, Dr. Michael A. Rice and Dr. Wayne Kang Lee to a discussion on road pavement technology and transportation engineering as another alternative to mitigate flooding in the city’s main streets. The engineering solutions, according to them, focus on mitigating flood damage through the application of Micro PAVER software and engineering research which would be very helpful to the city of Dagupan being vulnerable to sea-level rise.

Lee mentioned that they will be more than happy to review the recent condition of the city’s transportation infrastructure with the help of our City Engineering Office to further provide solutions on flood control. Dr. Wayne Lee specializes on civil and environmental engineering while Dr. Rice is an expert on fisheries, animal and veterinary science.  (Dagupan CIO Photo)
