BOLOSAN RESIDENTS AVAIL OF ‘ALAGANG HEALTHY DAGUPEÑO’ PROGRAM

THE eastern community of Barangay Bolosan was the next venue for  Mayor Belen T. Fernandez’s Alagang Healthy Dagupeño Medical and Dental Mission led by City Health Officer Dr. Ophelia Rivera and the Bolosan Barangay Council led by Kapitan Nancy Morris last February 6, and served some 300 residents with free medical, dental and prenatal checkups. Services provided included laboratory tests for random blood sugar, cholesterol, uric acid and hemoglobin; pneumococcal vaccine for senior citizens; vitamins; and medications for hypertension, diabetes, cough and colds. UNITY WALK FOR THE UNITED NATIONS’ GOALS

A LARGE crowd of students and teachers from Dagupan’s public and private schools, city government employees, barangay councils, businessmen, and volunteers joined the UNITY WALK from the Dagupan City Transport Terminal to the CSI Stadia on Feb. 5 to manifest the city’s single vision and direction in pursuing the 17 SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS of the UNITED NATIONS.  The same vision and direction were articulated during  the annual CHILDREN’S SUMMIT program in cooperation with the DEPED, attended by some 20,000 participants. 4PS MEMBERS RECEIVE PAYOUT

THE Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) validation and Over-The-Counter (OTC) Payout for 2,007 beneficiaries was held at the Dagupan City plaza, started last week, February 6.  Dagupan City supports DSWD’s 4Ps program to alleviate poverty and for people to enjoy life’s prosperity through the cash grant. The mayor encouraged the beneficiaries to avail the free medical and dental services in their barangays that will also provide free legitimation and other issues on birth certificate assistance, and the upcoming free minor operation and circumcision on June 28-30.  (Dagupan CIO Photo)
