SENIOR CITIZEN BENEFITS TACKLED AT GENERAL ASSEMBLY

MAYOR Belen Fernandez shares light moments with elderly Dagupeños during their general assembly on January 22 at the Federation of Senior Citizens Association of the Philippines (FSCAP) Dagupan City Chapter office where significant programs under the national government were discussed to benefit senior citizens. These include social pension eligibility, benefits and responsibilities; FSCAP contribution; National Commission of Senior Citizens data form; application for ID and purchase booklets; and other programs and services. TRICYCLE DRIVERS AND SENIORS RECEIVE FREE PNEUMONIA AND FLU VACCINES

TRICYCLE drivers in Dagupan got a dose of the free pneumococcal vaccine given at the Dagupan City Transport Terminal along De Venecia Highway on January 22, as part of the ‘Kalusugan at Kaligtasan for All’ project of Mayor Belen Fernandez. She said it was given to safeguard their health while plying their routes amidst varying weather conditions. It was in addition to the continuous flu and pneumonia vaccination activities being held in the different barangays to benefit senior citizens and adults where vaccinees receive free rice packs in line with the mayor’s goal to bring health care delivery closer to community residents.
